COVID safety and reporting

Ann Arbor Academy follows the guidelines set out by the Washtenaw County Health Department and the CDC when making decisions about how to safely and effectively conduct in person learning in light of the ongoing COVID-19 epidemic. Listed below are the health and safety precautions we will use during the 2021-2022 school year. Precautions are subject to change as the data regarding COVID-19 and its variants is updated.

Beginning in September, 2021

  • faculty and staff must be vaccinated

  • universal masking indoors

  • enhanced ventilation

  • HEPA/UVC air filters in all classrooms, common spaces, and bathrooms

  • minimum social distancing of 3 feet

  • vaccination for all eligible students is strongly encouraged
