Ann Arbor Academy's unique program features multi-age classrooms focused on building on student strengths while working to address academic and social areas of difficulty. The school has three divisions, all focused on meeting the unique needs of the learners at each age and stage of development from kindergarten until post graduation.

Students who are different, or who have disabilities, often feel that they don’t fit in, or that they’ll never succeed. Their strengths are not appreciated, and it’s hard to grow and learn without the sunshine of positive reinforcement. The foundation of an Ann Arbor Academy education is the celebration of student strengths - we build on the best. This simple and profound philosophy leads to an educational experience like no other.

This video features students and alumni describing what it’s like to be part of a school that builds on strengths and helps students improve in areas of need. That is the Ann Arbor Academy approach, and it works.
