Planning for College

Students wishing to take the ACT must register at least 8 weeks in advance in order to allow time for processing of accommodations requests. At the time of registration, choose special testing for the accommodations request. Please make sure that each student has a doctor's letter with their diagnosis, dated within the past three years, on file at the school. Ann Arbor Academy's ACT code is 230-085.

We recommend dual enrollment at Washtenaw Community College for juniors and seniors who are ready. Learn more about the program here.

Students heading to college will need a FAFSA student aid form completed each year of enrollment. Click here for the FAFSA.

The National Center for Learning Disabilities publishes a helpful guide to life after high school, including information about accommodations. Find it here.
